Frances Fleet
Deep Sea Fishing and Whale Watching - Welcome Aboard!
Welcome to the Frances Fleet. We would like to thank those of you who have sailed with us in the past and welcome those that are trying us for the first time. The Frances Fleet operates four boats out of the Port of Galilee in Narragansett, RI and was founded in 1978 by Frank Blount.
The Frances Fleet offers a variety of fishing trips, including half day, full day, night, offshore and overnight extended trips. Novices and experienced anglers alike are welcome on all our trips, and our crew will be happy to give instructions to anyone who wants/needs assistance. No reservations are necessary on the majority of our day and/or night trips, with the exception of night bass and squid. Rods are available to rent for all of our trips, and bait is supplied free of charge. And if you'd like to accompany an angler but choose not to fish, you're welcome to join in the fun and perhaps do some sunbathing at a discounted rate.
If you want excitement, sport and the ultimate in fishing challenges, then our offshore tuna trips are for you. We offer numerous offshore tuna trips beginning in late August and running until late October.. Due to the overwhelming demand of these trips, reservations are needed.
